Chrissie, a dear little lady who loves gardening, discovers that her beloved plants are under attack by pests! In this exciting animated short film, she embarks on a new gardening project we call 'Project: Massacre.' To save her plants, Chrissie shrinks down and battles the pests on their turf, at their size.

Chrissie was by far my favourite character to create for this animated short film. She is so versatile for poses and expressions, and she always has a recognisable silhouette. I put a lot of love into the Chrissie character because I wanted her to be a sweet little old lady who transforms into a true warrior when battling the pests attacking her gardening project.

In the animated short film I envisioned, the caterpillars are these large, aggressive creatures with sizable jaws and tiny legs, making their primary attack method a sudden lurch forward to bite. I particularly enjoyed the scene featuring the Chrissie character, where she cleverly uses a pile of slugs as a springboard to deliver a roundho

I particularly enjoyed the scene featuring the Chrissie character, where she cleverly uses a pile of slugs as a springboard to deliver a roundhouse kick right to one’s face. Another favorite moment was when Chrissie punches straight through one, showcasing her strength during the gardening project.

In the animated short film, the slugs were envisioned as these goofy, gelatinous blobs that would 'gang up' on the Chrissie character. I also wanted to include a scene involving beer and salt, as these are common traps used in gardening projects to fend off slugs.

The Vengeful Beatle is the one that 'got away' as a young beetle, but not unscathed, as he witnessed the attack and lost his mother due to the battle. As he grows up, he participates in a gardening project and drinks the 'Grow' drink to become massive, seeking revenge on the Chrissie character. Little does he know, she plans to finish what she started.
